  • British Dancing girl  - Soprano Claire Booth -Scottish Opera rehearse for the forthcoming Edinburgh International Festival production of 'The Death of Klinghoffer' by John Adams. It is directed by Anthony Neilson and conducted by Edward Gardner. This is the first British staging of John AdamsÕs second opera. The Death of Klinghoffer is based on the true story of the hijacking by terrorists of a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro, in 1985 and the subsequent murder of one of the passengers.
